A tea and Japanese cuisine event will be held for three days from December 1st to December 3rd at the Maruyo Hotel, a rental hotel renovated from the 70-year-old main house of Maruyo Mokuzai, a lumber merchant founded in the Meiji era in Kuwana City, Mie. A special pairing will be offered for this occasion only, using ingredients specially prepared for this event that are associated with Mie Prefecture and Kuwana City.
The chef is Nao Hirakawa of Aru Tokoro , a Japanese restaurant located in a renovated 130-year-old traditional Japanese house in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, that attracts gourmets from all over the country.
The tea master at EN TEA will prepare a unique tea right in front of you, tailored to the day's weather, the guests, and the food.
