At the Asakusa Sanja Festival, a symbol of Edo culture, EN TEA had the opportunity to join in the festival under the eaves of Miyamoto Unosuke Shoten.
Miyamoto Uenosuke Shoten has been manufacturing and selling taiko drums, mikoshi (portable shrines) and other items in Asakusa, Tokyo for over 160 years since its founding in 1868. They are wonderful supporters of Japanese festivals and traditional performing arts. We at EN TEA have a lot to learn from their attitude.
"Festivals and Tea".
This year marks the first year of this venture, and we will be setting up a stall for two days, May 20th (Sat) and 21st (Sun), for the enjoyment of everyone.
